About us
The KroNland – Transflorium Foundation is a Croatian-Dutch society dedicated to promoting the goals of the European Green Deal and sustainable development (green architecture, biodiversity, social inclusion). Through various programs and projects, we connect a diverse range of people from Croatia and the Netherlands — including students and teachers through Erasmus projects, farmers, the private sector, and international cultural exchange initiatives.
The Croatian-Dutch society KroNland - Transflorium was established with the aim of developing, fostering, and encouraging comprehensive cooperation between Croatia and the Netherlands in the fields of culture, the arts, and beyond.

Testimonials

1Dutch Ambassador to Croatia, Henk Voskamp, 2021
Dear colleague Ambassador Plejić Marković, dear members of KroNLand Foundation, dear guests, dear artists,
It is my pleasure to address you via this letter on the occasion of the first Days of Croatia organized in The Netherlands. In this year Croatia and the Netherlands are marking 30 years of excellent diplomatic relations. Throughout the year we want to celebrate our 30-years long friendship and partnership by giving voice to people who are connecting our countries.
Together with the Croatian Embassy in the Hague we started a great project that we called "Ties and Tulips". The aim of which is to connect and present the stories of the people who have an experience of living in both Croatia and the Netherlands and who are a true bridge between our two friendly nations. The stories that reflect upon what Croatia and the Netherlands have in common, but also that reflect upon the factors of diversity as incentives for learning.
Since both Croatia and the Netherlands care for the environment and
sustainability, we will plant trees throughout beautiful Croatia, in areas where the Netherlands has been present with technical assistance.
We would like this to be a long-lasting footprint of our collaboration and partnership and we firmly believe that this initiative will bring our two people even closer and will further luatur bonds between our countries.
And last but certainly not least, I would like to welcome in particular the KmNl and
initiative, as an initiative of our citizens, hattom-up so to speak, to strength hilateral relations between our two countries. Such initiatives are not only important, they are in my opinion essential.
I would like to use this opportunity to extend my congratulations to the Croatian Ambassador and to the guests from Croatia on the Statehood day.
Kind regards to all of you from Zagreb,
De Hank Voskamp
Ambassador of the Netherlands to the Republic of Croatia

3Parliament of the Republic of Croatia Marijana Petir, 2025
Our Sandra had the honor of presenting the work of the KroNland Foundation in the Croatian Parliament, at the invitation of the President of the Agriculture Committee, Marijana Petir. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to present the Transflorium project in the premises of the highest legislative body of our homeland, which is based on the transfer of knowledge from the Netherlands, in starting the domestic wood industry and building houses from natural materials in the area of the city of Petrinja.
